How does Breath Lock work?
You select apps you want to add friction to. When you open a blocked app, a shield appears. Complete a short breathing exercise to unlock the app for 10 minutes.
Can I remove apps from the shield?
Yes. Open Breath Lock and tap "Select Apps to Lock" to modify your selection at any time.
Does the app collect my data?
No. All data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or transmit any personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How long is the app unlocked after breathing?
The selected app is unlocked for 10 minutes after completing the breathing exercise. After that, the shield re-applies automatically.
Can I uninstall the app?
Yes. Remove all shields first from within the app, then uninstall normally. You can also revoke Screen Time access from Settings > Screen Time.
